Time Here.
It's been
Gas Works
Within the city of Seattle, there are many random parks and lakes. When we hear of one that sounds interesting, we make a point to stop by. One of those parks is the "Gas Works Park" located right next to Lake Union. If you're like me, the name leads your mind to think of endless possibilities as to what this park pertains. The truth is that the park is an old gasification plant from the early 1900s. It use to power much of Seattle but has since been replaced with other means. The old machinery are still standing and most of them are surrounded by padlocked fences. Each piece of machinery has a story to read. The major highlight of this park is the large patch of grass available for a Sunday picnic or careless day under the sun. Many people ride their bikes or run along the trails too.
